What Is An Addiction Case Manager and how can they help me?
Case Managers help clients set and maintain a successful trajectory towards long-term recovery. A Case Manager serves as a patients liaison and advocate through the process of treatment and the early stages of the recovery process. Treating addiction, alcoholism, and/or mental illness requires carefully coordinated care and great attention to detail. The task can be daunting for patients and families. Our Las Vegas team of addiction case managers provide patients with a single point of contact in coordinating and managing aftercare services.
The goal of case management is to expand the network of integrated aftercare treatment options beyond just detox and rehabilitation. Our case managers are involved in multiple therapeutic and medical disciplines, including helping ex-convicts find employment, finding care for people chronic or mental illnesses, finding short-term and long-term housing, and helping those overcoming addiction.
A sober coach, also known as a recovery coach, teaches patients relapse prevention techniques, coping skills, and essential tools needed to manage everyday life. A “sober coach” is like a personal trainer for sobriety. Our sober coaches provide one-on-one assistance to newly recovering individuals by helping them find meetings and navigate the early stages of recovery. The goal is to help the client maintain total abstinence from drugs and alcohol, and to establish healthy routines at home.
